The 9th-semester Urban Design Studio at focused on the Canoli Canal and its surrounding precincts, integrating the themes of ecology, tourism, and socio-economic activities. The studio aimed to explore sustainable urban design strategies that would rejuvenate the canal and its precincts while promoting ecological conservation and enhancing tourism potential. Through in-depth analysis of the canal's history, landscape, and urban fabric, students proposed design interventions that fostered socio-economic growth, improved public spaces, and strengthened the connection between the community and the environment. The project emphasized balancing ecological sensitivity with the economic and cultural vibrancy of the area, creating a vision for a more resilient and thriving urban landscape around the Canoli Canal
