Athira S B is an architect, academician, artist and researcher, having accumulated 10 years of work experience in academics and professional paradigms. She graduated from the College of Engineering, Trivandrum with second top rank at the University of Kerala. Her interest in teaching made her pursue a Master’s degree in Architectural Education from Nagpur University, Maharashtra. She is currently pursuing her PhD from the National Institute of Technology, Calicut, Kerala. She is the founder architect of the firm ‘Srishti Creative Studio’, based in Calicut. Among many other organisations, she is an active Associate Member of INTACH, IIA, and Kerala Chithrakala Parishath. She has presented and published research papers in various National and International conferences and Journals. She is a talented classical dancer, Kathakali artist and painter. Among her accomplishments are the URF world record for the longest soil painting on canvas, the CET Trivandrum Fine Arts Excellence Award, and numerous national-level drawing competition gold medals for the best young artist.
