KMCT College of Architecture was initiated by Kunhitharuvai Memorial Charitable Trust in 2013. Since then the college has flourished under the motto of “Knowledge with Wisdom”.
Approved by the Council of Architecture (COA) & All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliated with the University of Calicut, KMCT COA nurtures and teaches students to become promising architects of good worth, good in hypothesis & practice and can make an environment -valuable, artistic, inexpensive and eco-friendly.
At KMCT COA, the educational focal point and approach is a perfect blend of design, imagination & objectivity. The course program is designed to equip the students to surpass all the hurdles without losing the chance to utilize and experiment with their thoughts in every aspect of the architectural profession.
KMCT COA aspires its students to explore a new dimension in architecture which would pave the way for understanding their strength to deal with the multi-dimensional issues of the current society and its environment.
Our Chairman, since 2021, Dr. Navas K.M. has a vision which expands to the horizon so as to make KMCT Group of Institutions knowledge based educational & healthcare hub contributing immensely to the economic growth of our country. To bring world class education and healthcare to the realms of the people of our country has been his motto, driving him to explore everything possible under the sun to achieve the same. He is the guiding force, the mentor who explores and analysis various moves at KMCT Group of institutions comparing it with the global trends and setting his own standards that are firmly rooted on core aspects of education to all, healthcare to all, quality in everything you do, upholding moral values and strict adherence to ethical aspects.
He believes in spending time and assets on travelling and building networks all around the globe to aid in improving quality in whatever he does in the institution. He has served in various organizations and associations at various levels to aid in both charitable activities as well as developmental activities. He was the immediate past president of Kerala Private Medical College Management Association (KPMCMA) and is currently associated with related association of all disciplines concerned to his group. This allows him to intervene in various policy decisions regarding the colleges at the local level, state level as well as the central level.
He is also currently a member of TiE (The Indus Entrepreneurs), EPSI (Education Promotion Society) for India, KMTC (Kerala Medical Technology Consortium) CII (Confederation of Indian Industry) and CMA (Calicut Management Association).
